Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, long-term
We are recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support within a primary SEN setting in Bury. This role involves working with pupils with Autism, communication needs and learning difficulties.
The Role
You will be supporting pupils within a structured primary environment, helping them access learning and develop both academically and socially.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting learning activities and classroom routines
* Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
* Encouraging independence and engagement
* Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with SEN pupils (primary preferred)
* Nurturing, patient and consistent approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
