Currie Solutions is a leading logistics and transport provider with operations across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a highly organised Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team in Dumfries. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of multiple payrolls across the group, working closely with HR to deliver an efficient and compliant payroll service.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time across multiple businesses within the group
* Administering payroll for starters, leavers, and contractual changes
* Managing pension contributions and auto-enrolment requirements
* Producing payroll reports
* Supporting year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and other statutory returns
* Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and deadlines
* Maintaining up-to-date and accurate payroll records
* Assisting HR with payroll-related queries and administration
About You
* Previous experience in payroll administration is essential
* Previous experience of Sage 50 Payroll would be advantageous but not essential
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance
* Confident handling both weekly and monthly payrolls
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
