CNC Millers opportunities in this successful expanding precision engineering company. You should be an experienced setter operator capable of hitting the ground running, able to understand engineering drawings and be familiar with 3 axis CNC Mills and programming offsets where required(mazatrol or fanuc controls). The work is varied to include various metals, runs sizes and complexity. As you would expect basic inspection skills are required. Starting salary dependant on experience but to start at the top of the pay range it will require strong offline programming skills ideally with previous EdgeCam experience.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components (Programming an advantage)
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work areaRequirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent attention to detail and precision
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
