This role offers the opportunity to contribute to safe, high-quality, patient-centred care within a respected NHS Foundation Trust, supporting medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and secure healthcare pathways. About the Role As a Pharmacist within CNWL, you will: Deliver pharmacy services in line with GPhC standards, NHS governance, and local SOPs Clinically screen and verify prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy Support medicines reconciliation and optimisation initiatives Provide patient counselling and discharge medication advice Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including medical, nursing, and secure healthcare staff Ensure safe management of medicines, including controlled drugs Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic prescribing systems Contribute to audit, governance, and patient safety processes This role requires on-site working within a community hospital setting. Essential Requirements MPharm degree (or equivalent) Current GPhC registration in good standing Experience within an NHS hospital, community, or secure healthcare setting Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgement Excellent communication and teamwork skills Valid UK Prison Clearance (essential) Up-to-date compliance documentation (Right to Work, DBS where required) Desirable Previous experience in community hospital or secure healthcare pharmacy Familiarity with NHS electronic prescribing systems Experience supporting medicines optimisation initiatives Why Join CNWL?
