Overview
INSEAD is seeking an Assistant Director, Employer Engagement to join our Career Development Center Department. This is a fully remote permanent position based in London area. At the Career Development Center, our mission is empower, connect and educate responsible leaders for their life-long career journey. You will be an integral part of our Employer Engagement team - passionate and experienced professionals with an opportunity to work on exciting projects – centered on what we believe is one of the most significant mission statements in the world of education. Reporting to the Director of Employer Engagement, Europe Campus, you will use your experience and knowledge of the London job market to enhance opportunities for our Degree Programmes students and alumni (MIF, MIM, MBA, GEMBA). We look for candidates with ability to work as a strong team player with solid experience in business development and account management, business school career outcomes, recruiting, job placement, career counseling or coaching and/or significant industry experience. The position requires significant travelling within UK with special focus on London to meet with employers, business leaders, HR professionals, potential recruiters and attend industry events and represent INSEAD brand in key recruiting sectors such as tech, fintech and financial services.
The Job
Reporting to the Director, Employer Engagement, FBL you will be a key member of our team dedicated to enhancing job opportunities for our MIM, MIF MBA and Working Professional students, as well as alumni, within the London region. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing, growing, and maintaining relationships with companies and organisations across the Europe with an emphasis on the UK and Financial Services. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in increasing company interactions, the INSEAD brand and our footprint via company, student interactions and events.
Your role within the team
* Monitor labour market trend, provide job search expertise to INSEAD participants for UK and in some other European countries, as may be assigned to you from time to time
* In collaboration with delivery team, assist and coordinate career and recruitment activities in London (information sessions, networking events, employer panel discussions etc)
* In collaboration with employment engagement team, support student preparation for employer interactions in London, including job interviews, assessment centers and career treks
* Track and report all employer related activities
* Oversee and maintain career services systems such as Simplicity, Handshake or 12twenty
* Oversee and maintain quarterly tracking reports, analyze milestones, and make appropriate recommendations leveraging your basic statistical reporting and project management skills
* Maintain CRM systems to track lead generation, job postings, employer engagement activities and measure outreach effectiveness
* Participate in INSEAD departmental meetings, CDC cross-campus meetings, Europe Employer Engagement team meetings and professional development activities
* Ability and willingness to travel to Europe (Fontainebleau campus) at least 3 times a year to help with the career curriculum delivery and other career related activities
The ideal candidate profile
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* Higher education, Master degree in business, HR, training/counselling or related field is a plus.
Work Experience
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in either:
o B2B business development experience, corporate recruiting as an in-house recruiter and/or outplacement of international executives
o Training and career counselling of international executives/high potentials; or
o An Executive search professional
* Experience of working in a fast-moving international environment.
* Ideally, some experience in recruiting of high potentials and of the MBA/MIM labour market.
* Proactive and results-driven, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
* Self-motivated, personable, and capable of driving market development initiatives
