What you’ll do as an Associate Property Lawyer:
* Manage your own caseload, handling all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion, registration, and closure.
* Take client instructions, maintain accurate file notes, and communicate effectively with clients and third parties.
* Draft legal documents including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.
* Conduct pre-completion, Land Registry, and conveyancing searches with precision and efficiency, ensuring all documents and funds are ready for exchange and completion.
* Handle post-completion work including applications to the Land Registry, SDLT submissions, file closures, and ledger checks.
What we’re looking for:
* A recent Law graduate or someone with experience in the property sector (essential).
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* A motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office is preferred but not essential.
