Your Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a confident and professional PA who:
* Has several years of experience in a legal secretarial or PA role; experience in Family or Childcare law is a distinct advantage.
* Is highly organised, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload and remain calm under pressure.
* Possesses excellent audio typing skills and proven experience in managing complex professional diaries.
* Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Has exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and articulate manner.
* Demonstrates impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Is discreet, tactful, and trusted to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
* Has a positive, "can-do" attitude and is willing to take initiative to support the team.
* Is a team player, enthusiastic about supporting others and contributing to a high-performing department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive PA and secretarial support to the Partner heading the Family and Childcare team.
* Proactively manage and maintain the Partner's diary, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
* Accurately type legal documentation, correspondence, and court forms from audio dictation.
* Liaise with clients, barristers, and other professionals with the utmost professionalism and tact.
* Handle telephone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently on the Partner's behalf.
* Assist with file management, including the preparation and organisation of court bundles and case materials.
* Provide general administrative support, including booking travel and managing expenses.
