Role - Maintenance Team Leader
Salary - £55k + OT
Hours - days/afternoons finishing at 7pm with flexi time
Location - West Yorkshire (commutable from Leeds surroundings, Wakefield, Barnsley)
Holidays - 31 days + 8 bank holidays
ATA Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client in West Yorkshire, who are the fastest growing engineering specialists across UK/Europe. They are a multi-site group supplying specialist services across wholesale, retail and manufacturing facilities. The client is accredited to the highest BRCGS Food Safety standards and provides world-class services to some of the biggest names within the food and manufacturing industry.
Due to internal progression, there is a vacant position for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a team of 12.
This opportunity is suitable for a Maintenance Team Leader looking to move into a supervisory role. You will lead and oversee a team of 9 engineers, with 20% hands-on involvement assisting with emergency breakdowns. In addition to leading the team, you will manage the CMMS system, oversee reliability installations, schedule PMs, order parts and attend daily meetings with different department heads. The role will be 20-30% hands-on.
Responsibilities
* Check and issue goods that come in for the warehouse and external customers
* Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules prioritising key tasks daily
* Purchase of materials
* Support day-to-day maintenance on emergency breakdowns
* Suggest continuous improvements to the operational team
* Develop training materials and tools, propose to leadership management and implement 5S Kaizen projects
Requirements
* Experience of working on a CMMS system
* At least 1 year experience within a maintenance team leader position
* Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification
* Knowledge and experience of ordering parts
