Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor with experience to join their Private Client team based in Selby, North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be working as part of an experienced and highly-regarded team, with secretarial support. This role is a permanent position, offering 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and is available either full or part-time with hybrid working.
Role responsibilities
* Probate administration
* Will preparation
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Court of Protection matters
* Trust and Tax matters
While working alongside other team members across their network of offices, you will be responsible for your own caseload and developing the offering from their Selby office, with some time to be spent elsewhere if required.
Person specification
Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in Private Client law, ideally those with STEP aspirations. Anyone regardless of qualification level are encouraged to apply; qualified by experience, solicitor, legal executive or fee-earner.
You will have a high level of interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills and be able to maintain a friendly and sensitive manner, be articulate, cooperative and self-confident when dealing with client enquiries. You will also be keen to build your own reputation and be an active participant in business generation as this will be a key part of the role within a growing office.
