We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

What you need to know about the role:
Channel Partners are key PayPal customers that integrate and enable PayPal services for merchants across Europe. This role focuses on building new commercial relationships by identifying, engaging, and signing channel partners that PayPal does not yet work with, helping expand PayPal's reach and growth.

Meet our team:
The Front Book Channel Partner team at PayPal builds relationships with new partners across Europe. We help partners grow by leveraging PayPal's broad portfolio of products and collaborating on solutions that deliver shared, long-term value.

Your way to impact:
Reporting to the Front Book Partnership Director for Europe, you will sign new deals with new partners. You will prospect and manage leads, assess strategic fit, negotiate commercial terms, and execute agreements across ecommerce platforms, PSPs, marketplaces, and vertical SaaS partners throughout Europe.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

* Independently manage and grow strategic partnerships.
* Influence process quality and efficiency within the team.
* Determine appropriate actions for partner-related issues.
* Collaborate internally to implement best practices.
* Recommend solutions based on analytical skills and judgment.

Expected Qualifications:

* 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

Your day-to-day:
In your day-to-day role, you will….

* Lead the commercial relationship with key ecommerce platforms

* Drive the partners strategy at global & market level

* Work with Integration, Product, Legal & Marketing to drive product strategy, integration & adoption

* Analyze the local market and identify new partnership opportunities for PayPal

* Support the execution of local initiatives with PayPal global Partners

* Collaborate with partner managers globally to define best practices and a common business playbook

What do you need to bring:

* Prior success in Business Development role and B2B Relationships (5-7 years experience) – partner sales or new logo sales preferred but not required

* Strong familiarity with the European eCommerce, PSP and vertical SaaS market and dynamics

* Working knowledge of payments processing and digital commerce

* Ability to confidently negotiate with partner agreements and annual partner incentive plans to accelerate revenue, integration options, business and consumer use cases to drive best in class integrations and consumer experiences

* Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deal environments with long or non-linear sales cycles

* Strong interpersonal skills and project management skills with the ability to engage and influence multiple internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Legal and Operations at a local level, managing these cross-functional teams to drive partner plans

* Ability to work well and independently in a structured yet flexible and adaptable way and in a fast-paced team environment, with a good attention to detail

* "Entrepreneur state of mind": the candidate would launch new solutions and product via new partnerships

* Ability to think creatively and to deal with changing scenarios
