Salary: £14.75 per hour (40 hours) Sleep In's paid at £40
Hours: Full-Time Permanent

We are looking for a committed and proactive Team Leader to join a friendly team in a children's residential home. Please note: experience of working in an Ofsted-regulated home is essential for this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) looking to develop their skills and contribute to a high-quality, child-focused service.
Team Leader Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Residential Care Workers.
* Ensure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and young people are met.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
* Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care, which is free from oppression, and where differences are respected and valued
* Act as a role model and mentor to our Residential Support Workers, providing guidance and support as required.
* Assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
* Ensure that all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date
Team Leader Requirements
* Experience working in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting is essential.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards.
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding, care regulations and relevant legislation.
* Leadership qualities with a supportive and resilient approach.
* A strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
