A leading UK main contractor renowned for delivering high-quality industrial and logistics facilities. With a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, the company has secured repeat business with some of the countrys top clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Design Manager to oversee Design & Build projects ranging from £20m£100m.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead and manage all aspects of design coordination across tender, pre-construction, and construction phases.
* Oversee and manage multi-disciplinary consultants, subcontractors, and technical submissions to ensure high-quality design delivery.
* Ensure all designs comply with client requirements, regulatory standards, and buildability considerations.
* Drive value engineering initiatives to optimise cost, programme, and constructability without compromising quality.
* Maintain clear and effective communication between design teams, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Manage design programme and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
* Champion innovation and best practice within the design team, promoting continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
* Degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering (BSc / BEng / Hons).
