Our client is seeking a senior CRM Solution Engineer to provide technical leadership throughout the evaluation and selection of a customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
This role requires strong architectural capability, hands-on technical expertise, and experience leading complex CRM assessment and implementation initiatives. The successful CRM Solution Engineer will translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-centred technical solutions.
CRM Solution Engineer Key Responsibilities:
1. CRM Evaluation and Selection
Define technical and functional evaluation criteria, assess CRM platforms, and contribute to short-listing and recommendation decisions.
2. Solution Design and Architecture
Develop end-to-end solution designs, configure functional prototypes, and ensure proposed solutions align with business and technical requirements.
3. Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance across the initiative, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and contribute to delivery planning where required.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business representatives and project resources, to support successful outcomes.
5. Vendor Engagement
Engage with CRM vendors during the evaluation process, including technical discussions, demonstrations, and clarification of capabilities.
6. Risk and Governance Management
Identify technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
7. User-Centred and Agile Delivery
Apply agile delivery approaches and user-focused design principles to optimise workflows and improve end-user experience.
8. Innovation and Emerging Technologies
Assess and incorporate AI-enabled capabilities to enhance efficiency, insight, and automation within CRM solutions.
Ideal CRM Solution Engineer Profile:
9. Professional Experience
Minimum of 8 years' experience in CRM solution engineering, technical architecture, or closely related roles, including experience in technical leadership.
10. Technical Capabilities
Experience with cloud-based CRM platforms and API-driven integrations
Hands-on exposure to enterprise CRM solutions
Strong understanding of data migration, data quality, and system integration approaches
11. Delivery Methodologies
Proficiency in agile delivery frameworks and user-centred design practices.
12. Innovation
Practical experience applying AI or automation technologies to improve business processes
