Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)
Agile 6 Home and UK travel.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our rapidly growing Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. The role involves working from home and traveling to Light Rail customers and prospects across the UK as needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
* Driving sales and profit growth within the Rail business for Light Rail.
* Engaging with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, government, and infrastructure partners.
* Maintaining high customer satisfaction and advocacy.
* Collaborating with bid and proposal teams to develop customer-focused proposals.
* Account management for existing Light Rail clients.
* Utilizing data to generate leads and promote group solutions and Telent capabilities.
* Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce and Sales Plans.
Candidate profile:
Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager within the UK Light Rail sector is required. Key skills include:
* Account management and sales experience in the UK Light Rail market.
* Proven ability in new business development.
* Understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics.
* Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
* Data analysis skills for solution development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
