Description About the role Working as part of our Highways Operations division you will be joining our experienced team to successfully deliver quality projects, maintenance activities and support Cornwall's growth. You will contribute and help drive our safety-first culture. The main focus of this role is to work collaboratively with our sub-contractors across a diverse range of highway maintenance activities. You will need to build positive working relationships whilst planning, supervising and delivering their work. Activities can include but is not limited to: Road markings and studs Highway drainage maintenance Specialist patching and pothole repairs Traffic management About you We are looking for you to bring: Full UK driving licence Significant technical and practical experience Ability to resolve problems and react to changing situations and deadlines Relevant NVQ level 2 / equivalent qualification or demonstratable experience CSCS registration Good working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures and their application Ability to supervise specialist operatives and subcontractors Good verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with others For more information please click on the attached Role Profile: Our offer to you Salary: £33,982 plus overtime when required Working Hours: 37 Contract Type: Permanent Base: Primarily Scorrier but travel countywide is required.
