You will work with children and young people of all ages – in clinic, nursery, schools and family homes – carrying out assessment and providing therapy for a range of speech, language and communication needs.
We offer a comprehensive induction programme to develop your skills in all areas of speech, language and communication, supported by specialist therapists. You will receive regular clinical supervision, informal peer support and opportunities to develop your own specialist skills.
In addition, a year‑long, trust‑wide preceptorship programme is provided to newly qualified therapists to support your wider clinical development.
Main duties of the job
To provide Speech and Language Therapy to a defined clinical caseload.
To work and network within the population of Bradford District Care Trust.
To clinically support students, assistants and others in the delivery of the SLT Service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Speech and Language Therapy Degree
* Registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Health Professionals Council
* Registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy
Training
* General Training in relation to client group
Skills
* Prioritisation skills
* Knowledge and experience of working in a multi‑cultural environment
