Due to the rapid growth of the company, they are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team working alongside Payroll division.
Responsibilities
* Introducing all new sub-contractors - make sure all new sub-contractors are contacted within our set time-scales
* Sending out registration packs by email/direct from the system
* Chasing missing documents
* Reconciling registration documents
* Checking Right to Work documents, conducting BRP and ECS checks etc.
* Chasing missing documents on a daily basis
* Approving registration documents for import and conducting compliance checks
* Working closely with Payroll to ensure a smooth transition from worker registration through to payment
Compliance & Due Diligence
* Checking post inbox & distributing to the team
* Learning then continuously expanding knowledge of HMRC & CIS legislation
* Frequent internal audits (not limited to) - Settled Status & VAT & UTR checks due diligence - Clients & Sub Contractors
* Ensuring all clients have the correct documents on file and are set up on the system correctly
* Conducted regular audits and spot checks across clients and workers
Experience
The right candidate needs to be proactive, ambitious, willing to learn with an eye for detail and be a team player. Must be able to work to tight deadlines and a 'cando’ attitude. Must be able to drive or commute locally due to location of the office.
Salary & benefits
* Basic salary up to £28,000 dependant on experience

* Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
