Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and development
3. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs of students
4. Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their academic progress
5. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop curriculum and educational programs
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
7. Communicate regularly with parents about student's academic performance and conduct parent-teacher conferences when necessary
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
3. Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in an independent school setting
4. Excellent knowledge of scientific concepts and ability to effectively communicate and explain complex ideas to students of varying abilities
5. Strong understanding of modern teaching methods and tools
6. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strong organizational and time management skills
