About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Socialbear, you’ll play a pivotal role in fuelling our continued growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value opportunities across the UK and international markets. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to target innovative, forward-thinking organisations ready to embrace AI + Human driven solutions.
You’ll be curious, proactive, and resourceful — using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter.io, and other digital channels to research leads, craft compelling outreach, and secure meetings for the sales team.
This is an outbound sales role where your primary responsibility will be generating qualified opportunities that convert into new business. You'll collaborate closely with our Directors, contributing to pipeline growth through strategic outreach, partner engagement, and presence at key industry events. Your ability to build relationships will be crucial to your success. You’ll be focused on opening conversations with the right stakeholders, uncovering challenges, and positioning Socialbear as the strategic solution for scalable, high-quality support.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Become an expert in Socialbear's products and services.
* Research target companies and identify key decision-makers through digital platforms.
* Conduct outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leads.
* Set up meetings between qualified leads and Sales Managers.
* Maintain accurate records and activities in our CRM system (HubSpot or similar).
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitive offerings to position Socialbear effectively.
* Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach messaging and campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
* 2–3 years of experience: ideally within agency, SaaS, or service-led environments.
* Demonstrated success in outbound sales, including cold outreach, event-driven prospecting, and building self-sourced pipeline from the ground up.
* Experience selling into the US market is a strong plus, though not required.
* Passion for SaaS, digital tools, and AI innovation.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* Curious, resilient, and eager to learn and grow.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, but we value relevant experience and drive.
