On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting–edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Solihull Hyrbid.
Job description – the role
As a Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Design and optimisation of electrical power systems to meet customer's requirements.
* Development and verification of a wider range of electrical equipment
* Support to manufacture and test of electrical products.
* Providing technical solutions that meet the customer, business and regulatory requirements.
* Representing the Project/Company to customers, suppliers and operators as necessary.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Strong electrical background.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in the electrical field with experience in electrical design techniques.
* Experience in electrical power equipment specification would be advantageous.
* Demonstrable aptitude for problem solving.
* A track record of delivery in project engineering.
* Excellent communication/influencing skills.
