Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 educator ready to make a meaningful impact?
We are seeking a passionate and driven Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive school community in Rochdale. This is a pivotal year for our pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school, and we are looking for a teacher who can provide both academic strength and emotional guidance.
You’ll play a key role in preparing students for their SATS, while also supporting their development into confident, resilient, and independent young people. Beyond the classroom, you'll help children navigate friendships, manage emotions, and build the skills they need to thrive in the next stage of their education.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), ECTS are welcome to apply
2. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and/or as a Year 6 Teacher
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
4. Deliver high-quality teaching that meets the needs of Year 6 pupils.
5. Foster a nurturing and supportive environment to promote students' wellbeing and pastoral care.
6. Improve and nurture a love of reading by embedding reading for pleasure into the curriculum.
7. Passion for inspirational teaching within a high-quality environment where children thrive on and foster a love for learning.
8. Excellent interactions with all service users including parents, children and staff. skills and a collaborative approach.
9. A dedication to continuous professional development.
