HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a leading construction and manufacturing business, backed by Private Equity and in their next phase of growth, to hire a newly created Finance Manager position. About the role: This is a hands-on and varied role, involved in month end process, system changes and process improvements, embedding best practice, and managing a small team. This role is ideal for someone seeking their first step up to a Finance Manager position, offering broad exposure in a fast-growing and successful business. Key Responsibilities: Lead the management accounting and reporting function across a division of the business Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors Review financial statements, month end and year end accounts Conduct variance analysis and investigate any discrepancies Business partner operational and commercial leaders, to support business decisions Work closely with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts Present meaningful financial analysis and commentary Identify and implement process improvements Ad hoc support to Financial Controller and wider team About You: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent) Strong management accounting or financial reporting background People management/mentoring experience Proactive and professional in approach What’s on offer: Salary c£60-65k (dependent on experience) Hybrid working Strong progression prospects
