In this position, you will be:
* Managing tender processes from start to finish, including complex and high-value projects
* Providing advice and support on purchasing, supplier management and compliance requirements
* Preparing tender documents, assessing bids and supporting contract awards
* Working with teams across the organisation to develop cost-effective commercial solutions
* Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and deliver value for money

* Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management within a local authority or public sector organisation
* Knowledge of tendering processes and commercial practices
* The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
* A practical and proactive approach to solving problems
* A Degree level qualification and Level 3 CIPS Diploma
