Overview The Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day business activities. This position supports multiple departments, coordinates logistics, and ensures that operational goals are consistently achieved. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in driving efficiency, improving internal processes, and ensuring consistent service delivery. Background: The ideal Operations Manager will have a background in security, facilities management, technology services, or another service-based operational environment. Experience in contract management, client service delivery, or project coordination is highly desirable. A successful Operations Manager should have at least 2–5 years of experience in an operational or administrative management role, demonstrating the ability to manage complex workflows, coordinate teams, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Prior experience in a fast-moving, customer-focused business is particularly beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Operational Coordination * Oversee and support the daily operations of the business to maintain efficiency and consistency. * Ensure that all correspondence and client interactions are handled promptly and professionally. * Provide operational and administrative support to multiple teams, enhancing workflow and communication. * Implement and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Contract and Service Delivery: * Manage and oversee service contracts to ensure performance, quality, and compliance with agreed standards. * Act as the key liaison point between service partners, suppliers, and internal teams. * Handle feedback, resolve operational challenges, and maintain strong working relationships. * Produce and review operational reports to ensure accuracy and transparency. * Lead on incident response and manage issue resolution to ensure business continuity. * Plan and coordinate maintenance and inspection activities. * Liaise with internal teams and third-party contractors to ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks. * Monitor progress and report regularly on key performance metrics and operational targets. Monitoring and Reporting: * Manage daily handovers between operational teams to ensure seamless communication. * Review operational data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement. * Collaborate with senior leadership to reduce inefficiencies and improve service outcomes. * Conduct regular performance check-ins with key team members to ensure operational alignment. Required Skills & Attributes: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. * Analytical, proactive, and solution-focused mindset. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems
