Job Description We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Operative to assist with the day to day maintenance of the School sites. The School educates pupils across three sites: Stamford Junior School for children aged 2-11, Stamford School for students aged 11-16, and Stamford Sixth Form which teaches students aged 16-18. This is a 52 weeks per year position, six hours per day, but we would consider term time hours (34 weeks per year). Roles And Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day maintenance of the school buildings and grounds Carry out basic repairs, painting, and general upkeep Support with setting up rooms and furniture for school events Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the site Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner Work alongside the Site Manager and wider facilities team Essential Criteria A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to learn Basic knowledge of DIY and maintenance tasks Good communication skills and a team player Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential Application Details The closing date for applications is Wednesday 17th December.
