Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in carrying out installation, service, and maintenance of piped medical gas systems under the supervision of senior staff.
2. Use MEMOs computerised equipment management database (Medusa) to enter data on equipment maintenance, maintain service schedules, and documentation, in accordance with MEMOs Quality System and business ethos.
3. Understand and communicate technical and equipment-related information about problems and faults to professionals (technical, clinical, and management) and patients as appropriate, with support from senior engineers.
4. Follow procedures for record keeping and maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out.
5. Take responsibility for ordering supplies of parts and accessories needed for equipment repair and maintenance.
6. Enrol in a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Mechanical Maintenance through Weston College.
7. Attend workshops at Weston College as instructed.
8. Receive on-site assessments and support from an assessor to evaluate your progress and assist your learning at college.
9. Complete an End Point Assessment to qualify at the end of the program.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts to be confirmed.
