Flooring installer

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council are looking to recruit a Flooring Installer to join our teambased in Ipswich, Suffolk. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £35,930 per annum + Tool Allowance (pro rata for part time).

Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered.

About the role

Based from our Depot at Great Wenham, you will work in the Babergh and Mid Suffolk Districts on a wide range of flooring works associated with the maintenance of council homes.

This is an opportunity to join the councils dynamic housing repairs and maintenance team. You will be responsible for undertaking high-quality reactive flooring works across our 7000 occupied properties and will carry out to the highest standard all aspects of flooring repairs and installations

Key duties will include:

1. measuring, calculating and cutting flooring materials to fit specific spaces
