Duties and Responsibilities
1. To teach English Language courses to adults aged 16+, at levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced, as directed, using up-to-date teaching methodologies and approaches; to reflect systematically on the effectiveness of lessons and approaches to teaching
2. To plan, prepare and deliver well-structured lessons appropriate to the students’ age, nationalities, levels and needs, to differentiate appropriately and respond to the strengths and needs of all students
3. To prepare weekly progress tests
4. To set, mark and assess students' course work, homework and other assignments as appropriate
5. To write student progress and end-of-course reports as required
6. To plan out-of-class educational visits and activities, as appropriate, to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding students have acquired
7. To attend regular meetings for planning, co-ordination and development purposes, as directed
8. To assist with placement testing on the Monday of each week, if required
9. To maintain a professional demeanour at all times within the College, helping to create a positive working environment for both students and staff alike
10. To implement the Kings Behaviour and Discipline policy
11. To adhere to all statutory regulations and to Kings policies and procedures
12. To adhere to the processes and procedures detailed in the Teachers’ Manual and to the Kings Educations Teachers’ Standards
13. To work collaboratively with other members of teaching or administrative staff
14. To maintain high standards in your own attendance and punctuality
15. To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities, as required

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Professional experience
16. EFL teaching experience
17. Ideally, additionally IELTS and/or Cambridge exam preparation experience
Personal attributes
18. Supportive, considerate, good team worker, good at record keeping
Formal qualifications
19. University Degree
20. CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL qualification
Desirable
21. DELTA (or equivalent)
22. FCE, CAE or IELTS experience
