Your newpanyDue to our 6-year partnership between Birmingham City Council and Hays, we are recruiting on behalf of a globally and nationally recognised organisation. You will be working in partnership with their adults Continuing Healthcare team to recruit.
Your new roleAs a Qualified Social Worker within a fast-paced team, you will undertake caseloads and assessments and will be required to support the team in responding to referrals relating to Birmingham residents. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work with colleagues and managers across Birmingham to share and promote good practice. You will need to be happy and be able to travel across your working area independently to scheduled visits, have excellentmunication skills, and feelfortable picking up new and existing cases. Within this team, you will also be working closely with the health system and healthcare professional toplete the Continuing Healthcare assessments.
You must demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and guidance, having applied relevant procedures in your practice previously.What you'll need to succeedAll applicants must hold a Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW or Equivalent. Have an Enhanced Barring Adults DBS in process, and the candidate must be SWE registered with Social Work England.
