Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) is a shared Environmental Health and Licensing service for the six district authorities in Worcestershire (hosted by Bromsgrove District Council). Your role sits within technical services, responsible for managing Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and technical advise to support planning decisions. As a Technical Officer, your role will be to provide support across these specialist areas. To be successful in your application, you will have good knowledge of regulatory functions within a local authority context. You should demonstrate good customer service and interpersonal skills. You will be a good communicator, (Verbal and written) You will have good experience dealing with members of the public in a regulatory capacity and be able to learn and adapt to working practices.
