For our Sustainability & Quality Business Unit, we are looking for an Ecodesign & Materials Program Lead (M/W). This position is part of a Global Team, and the new joiner will be based in Belgium or The United Kingdom. Your meaningful purpose This position is supporting the implementation of Ecodesign into Life Cycle Offer Management of Schneider Electric products. With a strong focus on Green Materials program, the Ecodesign and Materials Program Lead will be in charge of building strategies, gathering data and creating dashboards to support decision making in the offer transformation. The new joiner will report to the Ecodesign Director of the Global Environment Team and will work closely with the data owners of Global Supply Chain (GSC) Procurement, Business Units (BU) and Sales team. Daily task and responsibilities Support the EcoDesign implementation with a focus on Electronics and Metals Consolidate BU's roadmap by supporting prioritization and assessing environmental actions. Perform impact analysis (cost, lead time, environmental impact such as CO2) with strong support of procurement and GET. Prepare dashboard to report progress of implementation to Sponsors and executives. Raise BU's and GSC needs to GET leader in charge of environmental data (LCA Automation, Ecodesign Calculator, PEP digitization, PDM). Develop, promote and scale Marginal Abatement Cost & Carbon (MACC) Curves for the relevant SE commodities (Metals, Plastic, Electronics) Factor in Ecodesign levers to be implemented by BU's. Factor in GSC assumptions on commodities accessibility and cost. Leverage MACCs to support BU's and GSC action plan and build long term strategy. Align MACCs scenarios with Resilience streams for Electronics and Metals. Support BUs, GSC and Sales to build a long-term sustainability strategy for Electronics, in particular for the semi-conductors sector Participate to electronics consortia (SEMI, CATALYZE…) and drive influence. Coordinate a consistent strategy across the different SE organizations. Create thought leadership content to be used in external events. Develop long-term partnership with suppliers and customers. You are someone who has… A high motivation, a strategic and innovative mindset. You are rigorous and pay attention to detail. A strong program manager skill, experience and the ability to manage numerous priorities in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones. A previous experience in building and executing transversal programs is a plus. A proven track record (2/3 years) in data management and IT systems. Strong communication, writing, presentation and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and leverage relationships to deliver results. Full fluency in English. A previous experience in actively participating in industry international consortium or association. A passion for Sustainability and a solid plan to continue/pursue a career in Sustainability.
