Temporary Vacancy - Finance Manager
Location: Bury St Edmunds, IP33
Rate: £27.02 (£30.28 including holiday pay) per hour PAYE
Contract length: 3 months
Hours: Full time
Seeking a Deputy Finance Manager to join a Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction.
Duties:
* Provide expert financial support and advice to operational leaders.
* Lead on monthly management reporting, forecasting, and budget setting.
* Support the development of business cases and financial strategies aligned with objectives.
* Drive cost improvement initiatives and ensure robust financial governance.
* Deputise and line manage a Management Accountant.
* Champion financial awareness and training across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Part-qualified CCAB accountant or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management.
* Public sector/non-profit finance experience.
