About us
Chiltern Way Academy Trust (CWAT) currently have 7 campuses across the Trust ranging from Combined to Comprehensive schools.
We wish to appoint a Finance Assistant to work as part of our Finance Team. This role will be, responsible for the timely processing of purchase orders, purchase invoices and credit notes on Xero.
You will be part of a talented, loyal and hardworking team dedicated to improving outcomes for our students.
About you
5 GCSEs (grade C and above, including maths)
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Processing orders and invoices.
Able to use a range of ICT packages.
Organisational skills.
Able to keep confidences.
Strong numeracy skills.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
High degree of professional autonomy.
Understands and gets on well with all types of people and able to win their trust and respect.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Accurate and pays attention to detail.
Ethical and operates with integrity, patience and tact.
Demonstrates a “can do” attitude including suggesting solutions
Willingness to challenge oneself to continually improve performance
Desirable
Working towards Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification.
Budget management training.
Knowledge of Financial Regulations relevant to BESD schools
Experience of using XERO software
Shares knowledge with others and supports their development.
