About the role The Programme Manager will oversee and coordinate a variety of projects and programmes ensuring they align with business objectives and Contract / Client deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, Clients and the Avove Leadership to manage project timelines, resources and budgets to ensure successful delivery of each programme. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority short cycle projects simultaneously. This is a full-time permanent role operating out of our offices in Chorley, Warrington or Oswestry, primarily working from home on a hybrid basis whilst supporting on site activities across the SPEN Network. What will your day look like Define programme objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders. Oversee the progression of multiple related projects within the programme, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Manage day-to-day programme operations and project teams, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates, management reporting information and addressing any concerns raised. Identify, assess, and manage programme risks and issues, proactively mitigating potential obstacles to project and success. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase programme efficiency and effectiveness. Promote equality, diversity, and human rights in working practices. About you We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex work programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards within the Power industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in managing production schedules and coordinating large volumes of client-driven, short-cycle work requests. You will demonstrate initiative in continuously improving planning processes and developing meaningful management information (MI). Strong leadership and a structured, process-driven mindset are essential, along with excellent communication and strategic analysis capabilities.
