Do you have a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills? Newport City Council is looking for a dedicated Recycling Administration Officer to join our vibrant team! Key Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of Newport’s waste and recycling strategy, including preparation of funding bids and managing grant funding. Gather and analyse information to produce data reports for performance monitoring and utilization, supporting senior managers. Act as a point of contact for queries and complaints related to recycling, managing responses and liaising with stakeholders Who We’re Looking For We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with: Hold a technical qualification in an appropriate environmental subject, or evidence equivalent professional experience. Significant experience in administration of schemes, managing payment and accountancy systems. Ability to communicate confidently and effectively to a wide range of internal or external colleagues, stakeholders, and partners, maintaining positive working relationships.
