There is an opportunity for an Events Executive to join their team initially until the end of March 2026.
Inside IR35
PAYE - Up to £18.49 p/h
Umbrella - Up to £24.30 p/h
Hybrid work - 2 days on-site at Burgess Hill + site visits for arranging events.
Your new role
As the Events Executive, you will support the organisation's internal and external events, ranging in scale from 6 to 600 people, third-party exhibitions, and small-scale national and international customer visits.
You will play a key part in the customer experience journey, using events to provide memorable and seamless experiences with existing and potential customers. Events allow the company to stand out against competitors and drive forward their ambitious business goals.
* To organise internal and external events, from initial event enquiry to completion and post-event management i.e. feedback, data reporting
* Liaise with existing and new venues and suppliers
* Work with small- and large-scale budgets
* Oversee delegate experience, including registration
* Write and distribute internal and external event communications
* To win and maintain business by providing our customers with excellent event experiences that will see repeat and extended business wins
* Continue to build upon our commercial and educational event portfolio with our customers in mind
What you'll need to succeed
Excellent event planning experience
Excellent organisational experience
Excellent customer service experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Previous experience of pharmaceutical / scientific events
