We are currently looking to recruit for HGV Technicians to join our Transport Department at our Bridgwater Depot within our M ller Milk & Ingredients Distribution business.
This is a great opportunity for HGV Technicians looking to work for a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern well maintained fleet of vehicles.
The purpose of this role is to Repair and Maintain our HGV Fleet to comply with legal and company standards. Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)
Contract : Full Time / Permanent
Shift Pattern : 5 out of 7 (Apply online only
Salary : from 20.04 per hour - 26.69 per hour
Overtime rate - 1.125x hourly rate
Saturday - 1.125x hourly rate
Sundays and bank holidays - 1.5x hourly rate.
Unsociable (6pm - 4am) - 14.25% hourly rate
HGV Technician Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to the following):
To inspect and maintain our HGV Fleet
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre
HGV Technician Key Skills & Experience
Qualifications required City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
Commercial experience on HGV's is essential
Class C+E licence preferable but not essential
