Contract Launch Engineer Shropshire Initial 6 Month Contract Competitive Rate Outside IR35 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Launch Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and vehicle launch activities within a leading automotive manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting programme delivery from concept through to production launch, ensuring all internal processes, quality standards, and programme milestones are adhered to deliver products to the customer on time and to the required specification. Key Responsibilities Support multiple automotive launch programmes and pre-production build activities Ensure programme timing, launch processes, and customer deliverables are achieved on schedule Lead root cause investigations for dimensional, fit, and functional concerns Coordinate validation activities, quality inspections, and customer submissions Support launch timing, programme reviews, and engineering changes Prepare technical reports, presentations, and programme status updates Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, tooling, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful programme delivery Support delivery of premium-quality products in line with the expectations of a high-end automotive customerSkills & Experience Engineering qualification or equivalent automotive industry experience Previous experience within automotive NPI, launc...
