Our vehicles are in effect land yachts with interiors that are constructed and maintained to a very high standard.
Job Overview
Constructing and maintaining the interiors of our luxury tour bus fleet located at our Begbroke site, ensuring our vehicles are kept in an optimum condition.
· Constructing vehicle interiors as part of our in-house workshop team
· Maintaining existing vehicle interiors: repairing, ordering and replacing broken internal vehicle parts, fixtures and fittings
· Fabricating new or replacement parts where necessary from wood or other complimentary materials
· Fixing interior trim
· Undertake further training provided to develop skills
Experience and qualities
We are looking for a person who can demonstrate that they can undertake a range of carpentry based tasks involved in constructing and maintaining our luxury tour bus interiors. This could be someone with training in joinery, carpentry, cabinet making, boat building, or other complimentary skill sets.
The ideal candidate should also have the following qualities and skills:
· A strong work ethic with good attention to detail;
· An efficient, focused worker capable of working to tight deadlines
· Be able to work part of a team.
PPE Kit provided
Hours
8 hours per day (including a short lunch break). There may be times when additional hours are required.
They will be required to clock in/out on a daily basis using the digital time clock installed in the office.
Our coach building workshop is operational between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and hours can be worked within this times by agreement with our head coach builder. You may also very occasionally be required to work at weekends but this is rare (on such occasions you will receive time off in lieu during the normal working week).
