As a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician, youll play a key role in ensuring our vehicles are mechanically prepared and ready for handover - helping us to achieve our vision of being the car buyers champion! What will you be getting up to?
Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults to meet Motorpoints quality benchmarks
* Follow our PDI process, including conducting road tests, to ensure readiness for handover
* Complete documentation accurately and support vehicle movements as needed
* Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with colleagues across departments
* Champion health and safety and contribute to a positive team culture
* Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
* A full UK driving licence is essential
* A minimum Level 2 motor trade qualification
* EV qualification is desirable - but dont worry, well support you with training if needed
* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues during inspections
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* A team player who can also work independently
* Motivation to meet performance goals and uphold quality standards
* Organised and efficient in managing workload and priorities
* Commitment to safety and maintaining a tidy workspace
* Willingness to support other sites when needed
