Role Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise in casting processes, focusing on furnace equipment for single crystal (SX), directionally solidified (DS), and equiax (EQX) turbine components.
* Support strategy development, project definition, capability development, and problem solving within your area of specialization.
* Lead collaboration efforts, provide technical leadership, and support training and development of team members.
* Ensure standards, policies, and best practices are followed and shared.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified engineer with a minimum of a BEng degree; higher degrees preferred.
* Chartered Engineer (UK CEng) or equivalent, with membership at Fellow level or similar.
* Deep understanding of casting technology, especially vacuum furnace casting of nickel-based superalloys.
* Experience in equipment specification, purchase, validation, and process safety.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and lead technological advancements.
