Job Description
Responsibilities:• Lead Highway and Traffic Design (from feasibility to implementation) of various schemes from highway maintenance, highway design, traffic, road safety and active travel schemes)• Assess traffic and parking issues around the city.• Prepare and implement TRO’s including drawings and legal schedules• Project management of Highways Civil and Traffic Engineering schemes including financial control of scheme budgets. • Provide specialist technical information to internal and external colleagues (including members, area teams, the public and other partners).• Compliance with relevant guidance and legislation (Highways Act / TSRGD / TSM / TRO Regs).
