We are looking for someone to JoinUs as a Rostering Planner in our Force Operations and Planning. Could you be who we are looking for? About the team/Department you will be joining: This an exciting opportunity to be part of the Resource Management Unit, based within the Force Planning portfolio, Operational Support Services arena. The post holder will be required to provide support to Basic Command Units (BCU) and Departments across South Wales Police. We are a small team based in Bridgend who oversee the updating and accuracy of the rotas for Police officers and staff across the force. About the role and your key responsibilities: The role will involve liaising and working with all ranks, updating rotas, and providing reports to Command Teams. Main responsibilities will involve: - To input and maintain rosters and rota information onto the Force Information Systems and to manage and coordinate resources for departments across South Wales Police. The role also involves working closely the Police Federation and Police Staff unions. Working with relevant parties and planners around event resourcing requirements. What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role: We are keen to hear from you if you are competent with Microsoft systems, excellent prioritisation skills and time management. You will engage a lot with officers and staff from across the force at all ranks so excellent communication skills are key.
