This is a hands-on, site-focused role offering exposure to a wide range of projects across infrastructure, rail, highways, and structural engineering, with a strong emphasis on ground investigation, subsidence, and foundation-related challenges. Unlike traditional consultancy roles, this position offers the opportunity to be involved in both investigation and real-world engineering solutions, working closely with structural and civil engineers to deliver practical outcomes for clients. The Role You will play a key role in supporting ground investigations and contributing to engineering solutions on live projects. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out site investigations, including borehole logging and ground assessment Supporting projects involving subsidence, foundation issues, and structural movement Producing clear, practical geotechnical and geological reports Interpreting ground conditions to support engineering-led solutions Working closely with structural and civil engineers on remedial and foundation projects Assisting with the delivery of ground improvement and stabilisation solutions Travelling to sites across the UK as part of project delivery About You Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related discipline Experience in site investigations and borehole logging Good understanding of ground behaviour and geotechnical principles Ability to produce clear, practical technical reports Comfortable working in a site-based, hands-on environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Full UK driving licence (essential) Why Apply?
