Fire Safety Manager
£54,617 – £60,901 | 35 hours per week | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

The Role
As Fire Safety Manager, you’ll play a key part in ensuring fire safety compliance across a large and complex estate. You’ll be the trusted expert providing professional advice, carrying out risk assessments, driving fire safety strategies, and supporting senior leaders in maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence fire safety standards at scale, working across residential and non-residential buildings of significant complexity.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide competent advice on fire safety strategy and compliance with legislation including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Building Safety Act 2022.
* Carry out and review complex fire risk assessments, escalating findings and advising duty holders.
* Review fire safety strategies, building plans, and technical drawings to ensure compliance.
* Lead on training delivery (fire awareness, fire marshal, evac chair) and maintain Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans.
* Support and advise internal stakeholders, deputise for the Head of Fire Safety where required, and represent the organisation in engagement with regulators.
* Drive continuous improvement through audits, incident investigations, and policy development.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* A minimum Level 4 Fire Safety qualification (CFPA Dip, Fire Safety Inspectors or equivalent).
* Strong experience carrying out complex fire risk assessments in large organisations.
* Knowledge of fire safety legislation, building construction, and British Standards (BS 9999 / BS 9991, BS 5839).
* Experience delivering training and developing fire safety policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively across multiple sites and teams.
