Fixed Term Contract Duration – 11Months. This is a 12‑month Fixed Term Contract based in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow or Edinburgh, supporting the Head of North – Sales and the Northern Business Development Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Northern BDM team with information to drive new business opportunities pre‑ and post‑sale.
* Provide immediate support to the Head of North – Sales and have regular 1‑to‑1 catch‑ups on progress.
* Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services and the contexts in which they are appropriate for clients.
* Develop and distribute communications to advisers identified by the distribution team.
* Collate financial adviser information from various sources to assist the team in building and maintaining panels.
* Liaise with centralised functions to support the distribution of materials, messaging and information.
* Update users and provide access to the FE licence, coordinating with the distribution team for financial advisers.
* Attend Northern and National distribution team meetings to capture and act on action points.
* Identify and conduct research useful to the team on topics such as adviser data and competitor analysis.
* Monitor industry publications for emerging themes and communicate findings to the Northern Sales Director.
* Arrange adviser meetings and events alongside the distribution team.
* Support the team at events, both virtually and physically where required.
* Assist follow‑up of events by providing attendee data, CPD certificates and contacting specific financial advisers.
* Own and edit content on the Distribution Intranet (SharePoint) and Training (Degreed) web pages.
* Build relationships with advisers and help book meetings when requested by the distribution team.
* Act as a backup for the CRM due diligence process when required.
* Liaise with all departments at Quilter Cheviot – including heads of office, heads of desk, investment managers, research team and marketing – on behalf of the distribution team.
* Develop a working plan with the Northern Sales Director to incorporate sales support requirements.
* Work towards proactive management of the adviser prospect list.
About You
* Reliable, adaptable, open to learning, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently.
* Background in Distribution, Sales or Marketing is an advantage.
* Good understanding of financial services.
* Excellent time‑management skills, able to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, able to collaborate with the wider Quilter team.
* Decisive, problem‑solving mindset and ability to make appropriate decisions under pressure.
