We’re excited to offer the opportunity to join our friendly team on Bluebell Ward, working a variety of shifts. Our team supports those with functional mental health illness, working proactively with our patient group and their loved ones to promote independence and choice in their care.
Bluebell Ward accommodates up to 14 inpatients in single, ensuite bedrooms to provide privacy and dignity in support of their recovery. Like the other facilities within the exciting Making Room for Dignity programme, Bluebell Ward has been designed collaboratively with staff, service users and carers to create the optimal environment for everyone, with quiet places and green spaces.
We have an established leadership team comprising a Ward Manager, Clinical Leads, Lead Nurses and Occupational Therapists. Bluebell is a mixed‑sex environment with single ensuite rooms, offering a positive, supportive and friendly atmosphere.
You Will
* Work as part of a team responsible for the delivery of Patient/Client Centred Care.
* Promote and support service user and carer involvement as autonomy and choices are integral to the Trust’s philosophy.
* Respond to the needs of people in an honest, non‑judgemental and open manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure that clinical services are delivered to the highest standard and in accordance with the most recent evidence‑based guidance.
* As a registered nurse, be personally accountable for your professional practice delivered in accordance with the legal and professional responsibilities outlined by the NMC.
* Ensure that services are provided in a safe and supportive environment, always adopting a professional approach to your work, promoting a positive image to service users/carers and the general public.

You must be dynamic, organised, enthusiastic and motivated with evidence of continued professional development, excellent communication and assessment skills, and be able to use your initiative and keep calm in a busy and unpredictable environment.
You will join a nurturing team providing individualised recovery‑focused assessment and care planning.
The post will provide an ideal opportunity to extend your skill base in acute care with opportunities to become involved in a variety of work streams including patient, service and staff development.
You will be expected to work shifts across a 7‑day week, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
As an employer and sponsor licence holder, we may provide sponsorship to overseas nationals via the Skilled Worker route. We must adhere to the sponsorship requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration. Please note that the current salary threshold is £25,000; it is unlikely we can offer sponsorship for this post, as without 2 years previous NHS Service at Band 3 you would commence at the bottom of the pay band which currently does not meet the minimum salary requirement for sponsorship.
