This role involves carrying out cleaning duties covered by an agreed cleaning schedule, ensuring standards are maintained at all times. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting repairs, assisting with special cleaning tasks, and monitoring cleaning consumables.

About the role
As a Cleaner, you will carry out cleaning tasks to ensure the agreed standards are maintained in line with the cleaning schedule.
You will ensure that any repairs noticed during cleaning duties are reported to the Cleaning Supervisor. Maintaining clear communication regarding maintenance issues is an important part of the role.
The position also involves carrying out additional or special cleans as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor. Appropriate equipment and chemicals should be used for each task to ensure cleaning requirements are met.
You will be responsible for ensuring adequate stocks of consumables are available in nominated cleaning stores. Where replenishment is required, requests should be submitted to the Cleaning Supervisor in a timely manner.
The role requires a consistent approach to cleaning duties and a commitment to maintaining agreed standards across all areas included within the cleaning schedule
About you
To be considered for this Cleaner in Chelmsford opportunity, you must have previous cleaning experience.
You should be capable of carrying out cleaning duties to agreed standards, identifying repairs that require attention, and reporting them to the Cleaning Supervisor.
You will be comfortable completing additional or special cleaning tasks when instructed and using the appropriate equipment and chemicals for each cleaning activity.
The successful candidate will also be able to monitor consumable stock levels within nominated cleaning stores and ensure replenishment requests are submitted in a timely manner to support ongoing cleaning operations.
