Duties
* Provide professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments tailored to client preferences
* Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
* Manage client consultations to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
* Upsell products and additional services to maximise client experience and revenue opportunities
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety standards
* Build strong relationships with clients through personalised service and effective communication
* Mentor junior team members or apprentices when required, sharing expertise and best practices
* Handle front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client enquiries, and payment processing
* Manage store operations efficiently, ensuring smooth daily functioning of the salon or studio
Requirements
* Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styles and techniques
* Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and store management are highly desirable
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
* Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining professionalism
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage appointments efficiently and multitask effectively
* Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is advantageous
* Valid certification or licensing as required by local regulations for hairdressing or barbering professionals
* Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and stay updated with current trends in beauty and hairdressing industry
