This opportunity will suit an Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager who wants to cut their teeth in specification sales. The Role of Area Sales Manager
This is a field / home based role covering the area of the west midlands. As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for winning and tracking specifications from architect to main contractor, sub-contractor, championing the companies' leading range of render systems, external wall insulation, concrete repair and screeds. The Area Sales Manager will work on both commercial and residential projects (new build and refurb), therefore there will also be some time spent with house builders. This role will suit an all rounder - as you will be dealing with all decision makers that include, Estimators, Project Managers, Architects, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Owners etc.
The Candidate
* My client is looking for a candidate that has construction field sales experience either with a distributor, wholesaler, merchant or manufacturer
* Whilst specification sales isn't a pre-requisite - it is advantageous if you understand the specification process from architect - main contractor - sub-contractor -distributor
* This is considered an entry level specification role so we are looking for an Area Sales Manager that is early on in their career, keen to progress and learn.
* Candidates that have worked for builders merchants or insulation distributors (field sales) are of interest
* Construction / industrial sales professionals with an excellent attitude will be considered
